Creating a Direct IP Connection

The Direct IP connection type is used for Mita controllers. To add a new Direct IP, use the corresponding Connection View icon.

Clicking the icon reveals a menu allowing you to select the required connection type. Alternatively, use the right mouse button over the Connections section and click New in the pop-up menu and select the required connection type. The Connection Properties dialog will appear.

To enable the Direct IP connection, specify the required properties:

• Transport - select the corresponding type - e.g. Direct IP;
• Name - enter a name for the connection;
• Router Host - enter a host name or IP address of the router, if your local network requires it. Leave it empty, otherwise.

In case proxy is used, specify the required proxy settings in the Proxy section:

• Type - select the appropriate proxy type: SOCKS, HTTP or System proxy configured on this PC;
• Host - specify the Proxy Private IP Address;
• Port - specify the TCP port, which will be used to communicate via proxy;
• User Name and Password may or may not be necessary provided, depending on the way the system is configured.
